Be able to pay close attention to detail while following recipes when making smoothies, juice on demand, coffee/tea, aqua fresca's, & infused waters.

Be able to pay close attention to detail while following recipes when making smoothie bows, parfait cups, chia pudding cups and toast.

Be able to follow food prep procedures.

Keep track of and log in ingredients needed for inventory tracking.

JOB DESCRIPTION JOB SUMMARY
The Head Shift Lead is responsible for working with the manager to supervise the day-to-day operations of the store. In the absence of the manager, the Head Shift Lead is the store leader.
​
COMPANY CULTURE & ATMOSPHERE
• Work constantly to uphold Sips n Blends core values;
• Understand and implement Sips n Blends Standards;
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience & make sure all employees do the same;
• Responsible for overall shift-level operations, the first in line to solve store issues, customer complaints and quick to lend a helping hand where/when needed;
• Communicate effectively in interactions with guests and management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work ‘on the floor’ for most hours, acting as the top juicerista;
• Ensure the store appearance as well as each team member’s performance is up to company standards;
• Aid manager in training and supervising new staff;
• Direct staff in daily work responsibilities/assignments to maximize productivity;
• Cold press juice as needed to maintain proper inventory level;
• Track daily inventory, and control food waste;
• Adhere to health and safety standards when handling food and maintain facility at an optimal level at all times in order to receive 98%+ on health department inspections;
• Continually monitor internal communications and take appropriate action to ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met;
• Ensure facility and equipment are maintained to company standards;
• Ensure that both, personal and other employees, adhere to company and health department standards, including personal hygiene and clean appearance;
• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are essential for this position.
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Outgoing personality, leadership ability, self-discipline and strong initiative;
• Hands-on leader who can effectively multi-task;
• Ability to develop personal relationships with all team members, motivate and create a positive work environment;
• Pleasant and positive attitude with a neat, clean appearance;
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be at least 18 years of age;
• 1+ years of restaurant or retail/customer service experience;
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time;
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds;
• Ability to work flexible schedule from week to week: early mornings, mid-day or late evenings, weekdays and/or weekends;
• Must agree to a background check if applicable.
